EVENTS AT RUSTON'S SPORTS CLUB
The Ruston sports & social club is situated on the outskirts of Lincoln with easy access to the A46.
Set on grounds of approximately 13 acres the club has free parking for up to 150 vehicles. The Lincoln Room, our main function room, is a large air-conditioned room with its own dance floor, stage and bar.
The club is all at ground floor level with double doors leading to the main function rooms making it ideal for wheelchair users.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Bookings
Provisional bookings will be held, without any obligation, for a period of 14 days, unless a different timescale has been agreed. After this time provisional bookings will be automatically released. All applicants wishing to hire the premises must complete the Booking Form and return it to the address given with the appropriate deposit. The person signing the booking form is considered to be the hirer (hereinafter referred to as the Client).
Deposit
In order to confirm a booking a deposit, equivalent to 50% of the room hire charge, is required which will be credited towards the final account. All deposits are non-refundable
Final Numbers
We require confirmation of the final numbers two weeks prior to the function. This final number or the actual number served, whichever is the greater, is the number to be charged.
Balance
The balance of the catering charges must be paid no less than fourteen days prior to the event. Any additional charges will be invoiced to the Client immediately after the event.
Payment
Payment can be made by cash, cheque, Debit Card or Credit Card. Also please be aware that our Brochure Prices run from the 1st April to 31st March. Prices may increase up to 10% for certain items therefore customers should be aware that if you are booking a function for the following year you are liable to pay the increased charges.
Cancellation
In the event of cancellation one week prior to the event or less, the full hire and catering charges will be deemed non-refundable.
Charges
The Client agrees to pay all The Club’s charges on the due date, failing which, interest shall be charged at a rate of 2% above the Bank of England rate in force at the time.
General
The Club’s name, logo and telephone number may not be used in any advertising or publicity without the prior consent of the Club. The Client is responsible for any damage caused by their guests to the Club or any property or the contents of the Club and shall pay the amount required to make good the damage. The Club cannot accept responsibility for the property of the Client or their guests at the Club. All items left on the premises are at the owner’s risk.
The Client shall be responsible for the decent and orderly conduct of the function and shall ensure that good order is kept throughout the premises during the hire. The Management have the right to end the function without compensation if this condition is not met.
No signs, banners, display posters or other materials may be fixed to the walls of the Club without the authorization of the Management team. Confetti should not be used either inside the building or on the grounds of the Club. There will be a £15.00 surcharge to cover the additional cleaning costs if confetti is used.
If the Client employs the services of an outside contractor, then the Client will indemnify the Club against any loss or damage to property or death or illness or injury to any person caused by the said contractor and against all claims, costs, demands, proceedings and damages arising therefrom.
The Club reserves the right to refuse access to any outside contractor in appropriate circumstances.
The Club and its appointed Officers/Managers reserve the right to refuse any application for hiring these premises and shall be under no obligation to give a reason for such refusal. The premises will not be available for hire to any person under 18 years old.
