Our Updates

Please find below updates of changes, improvements and new things for Ruston's Sports and Bar. These alterations and improvements are being undertaken by Ruston’s to improve our facility for our members and their guests.

September 2024

Project Name

  • Both defibrillator machines are in working order and are now registered with Lincs Ambulance services.

  • Our squash court lighting has been replaced by Parkers electrical and has gone from a 250 Lumin to a 508 Lumin per court which are all now LED.

  • A new sky TV deal has been secured and enables us now to show some of Lincoln City games in the bar.

  • All lights have been replaced in the sports hall.

  • The Bert Linnecor bar has a coffee machine and also a new glass washer both hopefully to improve the taste and service.

March 2025

Project Name

  • The 3G floodlights have been upgraded.

  • Lighting inside the club have been refurbished with only a few areas left to upgrade.

  • The kitchen is now being used by the club for buffets and meals and a menu will be produced shortly for evenings and timings.

  • Bacon Butties are now available on a Saturday and Sunday morning.

  • Regular once a month quizzes on offer at the club. Come and try your knowledge.

  • The Foyer TV is now advertising our range of clubs and classes.

  • Our next big introduction is Padel, and will hopefully be rolled out to the members May/June. We will be having 2 courts on the old bowling green with provision for more. We again at Ruston’s are trying to make this as affordable for all as possible please keep an eye out for more details.

  • Patching on the 3G surface starts week commencing 17th.
